Activate Win8 via KMS Server [WORKING!] [07-OCT-2012]

Clean Your DNS Cache

1) Open CMD with Admin rights.

ipconfig /flushdns

2) Reboot system

3) Set TCP/IPv4 server addresses:

Preffered DNS server: 8 . 8 . 8 . 8
Alternate DNS server: 8 . 8 . 4 . 4

4) Update internet time and synchronize to this time.windows.com

* Click on the time located at the Task Bar.
* Click change time and date setting.
* Click on "Change Time Zone". The Philippines is in the +8 Time Zone and follows that of Beijing, China. ( Choose the timezone for your country )
* You should change the Time Zone; merely changing the time without changing the Time Zone does not work.
* Click on the "Internet Time" tab.
* Make sure that "Synchronize with an Internet time server" is checked, leave the dropdown to default (time.windows.com), click "Update Now", and then click "OK".

5) Restart the system. (restarting PC is important)

- Getting error saying something about non-core, you're inserting a key not for your version
- Do not use a proxy

Windows 8 Activation helper

This application is written using Windows 8 (9200) Enterprise x64 but should also work on x86 (32bit)It probably won't work in Windows 8 Pro (MCE) as personally I don't use it and have no need for it
Maybe I will implement support for Pro later when KMS activation becomes possible for it.

Usage
- Add known KMS servers to servers.txt
-- 1 server per line
-- port is optional (unless differs from default port)
- Run ActivateWindows.exe


What it does
When running ActivatioWindows.exe it will scan servers.txt for servers (online or offline, does not matter)
The point of this program is attempting to activate windows with all servers listed in servers.txt untill windows is activated
When it can't activate with any of the servers in the list, it will try again after 1 minute in case one of the servers come back online


Note:
I activated windows using this tool after setting my dns settings to google.
Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
No, I am not going to explain how to do this, use google.


Windows activated using the first host in servers.txt after a couple of tries.
If it does not work instantly, leave the app running for a while until it says: Windows is activated.
